2014NYCC: Hands on-Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris

Are you ready for more tomb raider well technically this is but isn't a new tomb raider it's Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris and if you don't know it's a 4 player co-op dungeon crawler essential a sequel to Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light . Square enix was nice enough to let me check it out at New York comic con. From what I can tell Temple of Osiris takes the ideas from the Guardian of Light and super charges it with game play designed to make you work together,  if you have that second player but each level is fitted with a single player version for those of you like me who can't find a gaming co-pilot. The game takes place in ancient Egypt where Laura and another explorer get cursed and have to team up with the son and or wife of Osiris each player can pick any combination of the four selectable characters and can drop in and out with ease. Temple of Osiris takes full advantage of the next generation systems with destructible environments and a complex lighting engine. Temple of Osiris is packed with action and puzzles, that the tomb raider is known for. Coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox one and is an interesting take on the tomb raider franchise.

2014NYCC: Hands on- Hitman | sniper

Last Thursday I had the wonderful opportunity to stop by Square Enix and check out a few of their current and upcoming releases one of them being Hitman|Sniper the hybrid of you guessed it Hitman and sniper. The game is for mobile but I got to check it out on iPad and I must say I had a lot of fun. It seems that the guys over at Square Enix Montreal have a really good understanding on what makes a free to play game work. With very addictive gameplay and no in your face pay to win option any where I can really see this game catching on. The game is set up so you can play for minutes or hours it's up to you on how you want to execute each level. Once you spot the target it's about secretly taking  out additional targets throughout the level to rack up points be fore you execute the main target. From hiding bodies to making deaths look like accidents this game embodies the Hitman experience through the scope of a sniper rifle. Definitely worth checking out Hitman fan or not. The game drops latter this year and I will be looking forward to seeing you on the leaderboard.
