Welcome to OST Spotlight, the place where we here at 8bitdrum highlight games that reached gaming music excellence. OST Spotlight will feature games popular and obscure wrapped into one locale in the name of great Background Music.
This is the NES/GameBoy feature Part 1!

Tetris (NES/GameBoy)
Clash at Demonhead (NES)
Whale, I am going to catch AAAALLLL kinds of shit for this one. This game has loops, good loops.. Thats all, loops. In my opinion, amazing loops. Loops that I never get tired of. Loops that some people (lots of people) hate. Loops that I love and that’s why they are a part of this list of great soundtracks.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (NES)
This legendary arcade port is normally highly ranked for the game play and is never forgotten on lists for best NES Soundtracks. Honestly, who does not love this soundtrack?? That is all, there is nothing more to say.
Bubble Bobble (NES)
Bubble Bobble is one of those arcade-style-classic-pure-fun-can't-be-emulated-no-matter-how-hard- developers-try kind of games. It has some pretty snazzy chip tunes to go along with it.
***OBLIGATORY GAME ALERT***
Pokemon Red/Blue (Gameboy)
10/10 best game. 10/10 Best Music. But in all honestly, Pokemon's game has set a standard of really immersive music that fits every route, boss, and faithful encounter perfectly.
Am I Buzzfeed yet?
Best,
